Most of us must have heard that games use engines to function. Creating a brand new one is an unprecedented effort, and that’s why many developers choose to use readily available ones like Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, or similar. However, we cannot forget about a specific platform that enables users to create their own productions – Roblox. This 2 decades old technology has seen a lot of interesting works created by fans and dev teams. The most recent hit is undeniably Grow a Garden which (according to Wikipedia) holds concurrent user (CCU) record. The title owes its success to Summer Update. A new currency, Summer Coin, is needed to obtain goodies that are beyond reach of the classic Sheckles. How to get this new money? It’s actually quite straightforward.

How to get Summer Coins in Grow a Garden

While you might have already piled up some of Grow a Garden usual currency, Sheckles, it is impossible to get new items that were introduced alongside Summer Update for the game. To avoid immediately buying out all the stocks with your banked up money, you will have to put some effort into acquiring Summer Coins. Only thanks to them will you be able to obtain the fresh summer content. How to do so?

To get the desired Summer Coins, you would have to participate in the new events – Summer Harvest and Mega Summer Harvest. There, every hour, you will need to submit summer crops that will allow you to obtain Harvest Points. The event itself lasts 10 minutes and based on the number of points you gather, you will receive the Summer Coins. The general rule is that you get 1 coin for 1000 Harvest Points.

Depending on what fruits you use, you will amass a different amount of harvest points, and so they go as follows:

  1. Common (1 point) – Carrot, Strawberry
  2. Uncommon (2 points) – Blueberry, Wild Carrot
  3. Rare (3 points) – Pear, Tomato, Cauliflower, Delphinium
  4. Legendary (4 points) – Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Green Apple, Avocado, Banana
  5. Mythical (5 points) – Pineapple, Kiwi, Bell Pepper, Prickly Pear, Parasol Flower, Lily of The Valley
  6. Divine (6 points) – Rosy Delight, Loquat, Feijoa, Pitcher Plant
  7. Prismatic (7 points) – Sugar Apple, Elephant Ears

While it appears that going for the highest point fruits will yield the best results, actually the best strategy is to stack on Tomatoes. Even though they are only worth 3 points each, they grow very fast and can are easy to farm.

You can use Pack Bees to expand your storage space as well as use Axolotl, which has a passive chance that a summer type fruit will stay after collecting it. Thanks to those strategies, you can gain an unprecedented number of points and hence Summer Coins.

As a closing note, it’s worth mentioning that while you can get a lot of coins thanks to submitting fruits to the event booth, the rewards will hard cap at 14,000 points. It means that no matter if you have 14k, 50k, or even 100k points or more, you will always get the same, prismatic tier of rewards. Have fun!
