Company of Heroes 3: Fire & Steel is the second (after Hammer & Shield Expansion Pack) add-on to the World War II RTS from 2023, titled Company of Heroes 3. The development of this DLC was overseen by Relic Entertainment studio, which is responsible for the entire series. The expansion introduces four new battlegroups, available in multiplayer modes and skirmishes against AI.

New battlegroups

Company of Heroes 3: Fire & Steel brings the following combat groups:

  1. Heavy Weapons Battlegroup - available for American forces, it allows ordering .50 caliber machine guns and Black Dragon howitzers, as well as calling for half-track assault vehicles, 3-inch anti-tank guns, and the M26 Pershing tank.
  2. Terror Battlegroup - thanks to it, the Wehrmacht can use Junkers Ju 87 Stuka airplanes (equipped with sirens called Jericho trumpets) on the battlefield, carry out rocket attacks using V1, as well as organize field interrogations, and also make use of the Konigstiger tank.
  3. Canadian Shock Battlegroup - British forces are given access to Canadian assault units, which use aggressive tactics and utilize incendiary weapons, led by the Churchill Crocodile tank equipped with a flamethrower.
  4. Panzerjager Command Battlegroup - Afrikakorps can delay the progress of enemy troops by using roadblocks, creating minefields and defensive positions. In addition, they are given the Elefant tank destroyer, which allows them to hunt enemy tanks.
