Ippy Slide in Rematch is one of the most important tricks in game. Master it and you will easily dominate the virtual field
The Ippy Slide is a great trick that will easily confuse your opponents. Learning it will increase your chances of winning.

Rematch is a soccer game in which team play is the key to victory. Passing the ball to our better-positioned teammates when we're under attack from the opposing team allows us to create more scoring opportunities. However, passes are not always easy, as a well-organized defense by the opponent can easily cover each of your teammates on the field.
That's why dribbling is useful, because getting past the opponent allows one of our players to be free from covering or to create a good shooting opportunity. It is important to learn all the techniques that allow you to deceive your opponents. And one of such tricks is the Ippy Slide. Mastering it to perfection, along with the standard dribbling, will allow you to dominate the field and create goal-threatening plays.
What is Ippy Slide?
Ippy Slide is a technique created by a user named ippy_rematch. The main assumption of this trick is to confuse the opponent attacking us. It's about throwing the ball in any direction and then quickly moving in the opposite direction from where the ball was kicked. The ball practically sticks to the player's foot while performing this trick. Moreover, it is so fast that the players watching may not react in time or might slide in the wrong direction.
How to do Ippy Slide?
At first, doing the Ippy Slide can be a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty easy. The most important thing is not to use sprint at the very beginning when starting this trick. Go with the ball in any direction, but don't run. Then release the ball in front of you or to the side (space on PC / X on PS5 / A on Xbox). When the ball is kicked, immediately press the button responsible for sprinting (left shift on PC / L1 on PS5 / LB on Xbox) and direct your character in the opposite direction from where you sent the ball. For example, if you released the ball straight ahead, then direct your character backward.
This trick can be combined with others, like a regular dribble for example. It's important not to use it every time, because at some point, more clever defenders will start to catch a certain pattern and block you. Nevertheless, this gimmick is very useful and worth using in many situations.
