Date Everything! is a great hit among dating sims. Many people appreciate it for its humor, interesting characters and craziness. One of the most intriguing dateable “objects” is Sinclaire (or Sinclair as majority of players misspell his name, poor guy). He is a sink. However, he believes that he used to be a man before. Is it true? I will not spoil anything if I say that of course not. He is a sink, and he always has been. However, how to prove it? How to heal him? This is something you will learn in this guide.

How to heal and romance Sinclair (and Maggie) in Date Everything

During your first meeting, Sinclaire will tell you his story and ask you to bring someone good at solving mysteries. Of course, such a person is Maggie (Magnifying Glass). You should know her, as she is one of the first people you meet in the game. At this point there is a chance that you have already worked with her during previous cases. Sinclare’s unstable condition is the last part of her personal quest, too. After that you can officially romance her (or become friends, your choice).

To heal Sinclaire you need 25 Smarts. You can get this stat by romancing or befriending characters like: Timothy, Keyes, Farya, Dolly, Textbox-Chan or Gaia. Sadly, without that, you can’t bring him back. However, you can still solve the case and romance him and Maggie. See the next section if you don’t want to grind points right now. Good luck.

Below you will find a step-by-step guide, which will take you through the investigation sequence. We will write all the responses you should pick. Keep in mind that we skip those moments when there is only one thing to say, and there is no option to choose.

  1. Yes.
  2. Nevermind.
  3. Let’s go into a bit of detail about your occupation, Martin.
  4. What do you do there?
  5. I get the feeling you don’t have any idea what you’re talking about.
  6. What’s your boss’ name?
  7. Right…
  8. Tell me about your office.
  9. It’s like he’s making it all up as he goes…
  10. He’s a sink. Something deeper is going on here.
  11. Martin, I’d like to talk about your trip downtown in more detail.
  12. But you mentioned them being ‘potent’ last time we talked.
  13. What do you make of the Questionable Dandelion?
  14. Jimson weed is a thing.
  15. [Smarts 25] Yep. It’s a powerful psychedelic!
  16. What’s the deal with that bar? The so-called ‘Banana Lounge?’
  17. I don’t buy what he said about the Shirley Temples. I think they must have been alcoholic.
  18. Can you tell us a little more about this ‘Vagabonda’ character?
  19. What was the deal with her punch card?
  20. Do you still have it?
  21. Why did she curse you, again?
  22. How do I know she’s a real person?
  23. The disposal warranty is very intriguing.

  1. I’d like to know what some other objects in the house think. – we will skip Sudsy, as it is not required to complete the case. You can give her a threat, though (cute).
  2. Let’s bring in Dorian! – simply pick all options during this conversation.
  3. Let’s talk to Arma.
  4. Does Sinclaire remember past interactions?
  5. Can you provide a medical diagnosis of Sinclaire/Martin’s condition?
  6. I think we’re ready to move on.
  7. Unstable? – Sadly, I did not have enough Sass to test the “A poorly baked souffle” option.
  8. I agree. But we have to make a move some time.
  9. Sinclaire, you’re actually a sink.
  10. Other objects in the house corroborate it.
  11. Something happened on your ‘night out.’
  12. No, Sinclaire, you ate a psychedelic weed!
  13. Your encounter with Vagabonda wasn’t real.
  14. It appears to have been a hallucination.
  15. Hit the disposal!
  16. Something like that.
  17. Maggie, why don’t I wrap things up here?
  18. Well, hello Sinclaire. It’s a pleasure.
  19. I wouldn’t say no to a date…

Congratulations, Sinclair is in love with you. Now, you can go to Maggie and complete her relationship, too.

How to solve the case and romance Sinclair (and Maggie) in Date Everything – no Smarts version

Not all stories can have happy endings... or maybe?Source: Date Everything!, developer: Sassy Chap Games

As it was stated in the previous section, if you do not have enough Smarts, you can still complete the case and romance both characters – Maggie and Sinclaire. However, you can’t heal the poor sink. We will write all the responses you should pick. Keep in mind that we skip those moments when there is only one thing to say, and there is no option to choose.

  1. Yes.
  2. Nevermind.
  3. Let’s go into a bit of detail about your occupation, Martin.
  4. What do you do there?
  5. That sounds reasonable to me.
  6. What’s your boss’ name?
  7. Sounds legit.
  8. Let’s move on to another line of inquiry.
  9. He’s clearly lying about what he does for a living.
  10. He’s a man, but his memory has been warped by his transformation.
  11. Martin, I’d like to talk about your trip downtown in more detail.
  12. Alright, what next?
  13. What do you make of the Questionable Dandelion?
  14. Jimson weed is a thing.
  15. You bet. But it’s just a culinary garnish.
  16. What’s the deal with that bar? The so-called ‘Banana Lounge?’
  17. He ordered from a real restaurant. That’s the only thing he’s told us so far that adds up.
  18. I think we’re done here. Let’s solve this thing!
  19. Unstable?
  20. I agree. But we have to make a move some time.
  21. Martin, you are indeed, a man.
  22. It doesn’t matter – just listen to that guy. He’s in pain!
  23. No… you can be my lover.
  24. Nothing would make me happier.

Congratulation, now Sinclair… sorry, Martin is in love with you. While Maggie may seem like she doesn’t like the outcome, when you talk to her, she will be quite happy that you have completed the case, and the conversation will go the same way as if you had healed Sinclaire and proved that he is a sink. However, this outcome may depend on your other choices during her questline and whether you have properly solved the previous mysteries.
