Death Stranding 2: How to open the door to the Motherhood?

During order no. 26 in Death Stranding 2, you will visit the Motherland for the first time, a location in the northeastern corner of the map. However, the door to it will turn out to be locked with a code that is different for each player. While the solution may seem non-obvious, you already have the code – you just need to find it. On this page, we have described how to find the code that opens the door to the Motherhood.

How to find the code to the Motherhood?

You will come to the Motherhood during order no. 26 - your task is to steal an old BB capsule from a survivalist camp and deliver it to the Motherhood. There is a useful tip hidden in the order description that is very easy to miss, and it is there that the answer to your question lies.

When you finally get to the Motherhood, you'll notice that the door is locked with a code. If you spend long enough thinking, Dollman will give you a hint - Charlie told you to check something before starting the quest. The answer to your question lies in the corpus, a database about the game's mechanics, story, and world.

Open the corpus and go to the Locations tab. There, find the Motherhood and read the location's description to find the answer. The code is your date of birth, set in your PlayStation profile, in the format MM/DD - if you were born on April 13th, for example, the door code would be 0413. When reading the Motherhood's description, press Square to reveal the code, then enter it in the panel next to the door to open it.
