Rematch is a sports game about soccer, where teamwork is important. That’s why it is crucial to master passing the ball to friends. Nevertheless, sometimes it's okay to indulge in a little field craziness and play selfishly if you know you have the perfect opportunity to score a goal. And there are many ways to do this. One of the best solutions, however difficult to perform, is the so-called Blade Shot. If you don't know what it is or if you have trouble executing it correctly, then you will find everything you need in this guide.

How to master Blade Shot in Rematch

Rematch features unique moves (with special animations) when shooting or passing, as long as players know how to trigger them. It is also true in the case of Blade Shot. It is a shot that sends the ball over the player's head. Our avatars do a scissor kick at a very fast pace, giving the ball more speed than with a normal shot.

There are two ways to do it:

  1. Regular Blade Shot - first, release the ball in front of you (spacebar for PC, X for PS5 or A for Xbox). Then, approaching the ball, make a short lob (X for PC, R1+Square+X for PS5 or RB+X+A for Xbox). Once the ball is in the air, use Extra Effort (Left Shift x2 on PC, L1 x2 on PS5 and LB x2 on Xbox) and momentarily take a shot (RMB on PC, R2 on PS5 and RT on Xbox). This will make the character jump into the air and hit the ball with very strong force.
  2. Rainbow Flick Blade Shot - the second version uses a trick called Rainbow Flick. This move is slightly easier than the previous one to perform. To do it, start with the Rainbow Flick (C on PC, R1+X on PS5 and RB+A on Xbox); then, when the ball is in the air, repeat Rainbow Flick combination once again to head the ball upward. Next, quickly use sprint or extra effort and take a shot. If you point the camera a little bit upward, the Blade Shot will definitely succeed.

Remember that performing this shot does not immediately mean that you will score the goal. In fact, the most difficult part is to properly aim where you want to direct the ball before this shot. However, if you succeed, there is a good chance that the goalkeeper will not react well enough and will not save a goal.
