How to enter Wreck of the Hephaestus in Dune Awakening
Not sure how to enter the Wreck of the Hephaestus in Dune Awakening? Our guide will help you with that.

Games in the MMO genre are known to have very vast, open worlds. This is no different in the case of Dune Awakening, where players can roam the large planet of Arrakis, whether in search of resources, items or missions. As for the latter, there is the quest “A Sign from Above”, which requires players to explore the Wreck of the Hephaestus. The trouble begins the moment you try to find that location. Fortunately, thanks to our guide, you will learn how to enter it.
How to enter Wreck of the Hephaestus in Dune Awakening
Finding the Wreck of the Hephaestus is part of the quest “A sign from above”. Some players seem to be confused about where to find this location and how to enter it. To do so, you must use your Ornithopter. The quest we are talking about is an endgame challenge, so there is a big chance that you already have this vehicle. If not, you need to build one. It is a difficult task for a solo player due to the large number of resources needed. If you play Dune Awakening with friends, it will be easier, though.
What you need to do is:
- Enter the Ornithopter and fly towards the edge of the map. It can be any part, so fly to the side of the edge that is closer to you.
- This will get you to the world map. While in this menu, click the “M” key to open the list of locations.
- The list includes Wreck of the Hephaestus. Click it to track the location. It is in the southeastern part of the map.
Finding the wreck is not the only case when something is quite well hidden in Dune Awakening. Finding Advanced Planetologist or Thermoelectric Cooler are not easy tasks either. What's more, some missions are even available outside the game itself. Have you heard about the Discord Quest? Today (June, 16, 2025) is the last day to get a free Mural.
