It looks spectacular
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is an action-adventure game with a soulslike vibe, but apparently with its own unique character. We will play as Bai Wuchang, a mysterious warrior who suffers from amnesia and has been cursed. The whole story takes place in an alternative China at the end of the Ming Dynasty, where the atmosphere is as dense as fog in a mountain temple. We will traverse gloomy, forgotten places, fighting against eerie creatures and powerful bosses.
Apparently it's a soulslike, but is it really?
In WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, we'll have access to various types of weapons, spells inspired by mythology, and a system that rewards perfect dodges. There is also an interesting motif: if we die too often or kill too many enemies in a short time, an inner demon will awaken in us. The game also has a non-linear storyline, moral choices, and a heavy but beautiful atmosphere, which may appeal to fans of Sekiro or Bloodborne. At least that's what some people claim, but how much truth is there in it?
