Harry Potter series from HBO Max will feature a character that was missing from the movies? One information led fans to believe in the appearance of a certain Hogwarts professor
Harry Potter fans have found a clue that has led them to believe that the TV series will feature a character that was missing from the films.

We know more and more about the cast of the new Harry Potter series being developed for HBO Max. The production will revisit the fate of the young wizard and his friends, who will face the dangerous Lord Voldemort. The three main characters, a couple of Hogwarts professors, magical school students and adults have already been cast, but that's still not everyone.
And while the crew is expected to get on set soon, casting isn't over yet, or at least it looks that way. Recently, a casting announcement appeared online that fans believe is for a role in the Harry Potter series, as an actor is being sought who will be available in Hertfordshire. This place is known as the home of Harry Potter because it's where the movies were filmed at the studio in Leavesden and where the series will be shot. In addition, the shooting time given in the casting call coincides with the time when it is believed that the series will be filmed.
That's not all, however, as the description of the sought-after actor itself also led fans to believe the role is from HP, as they could easily link him to a specific character from the books. With whom? Professor Silvanus Kettleburn, as the wanted actor is said to be a “male arm amputee (40's+),” and the character in question lost all his limbs but one arm and half of one leg.

If true, this would be the first time we would see this character on screens, as he wasn’t included in the films. Professor Kettleburn was the Care of Magical Creatures teacher and resigned from his position before Hagrid took over.
A casting call regarding the “major TV series,” which HP fans have linked to the Harry Potter series, mentions that the role would be long-running. Extra People, which put out the casting call, specializes in finding extras, which suggests it wouldn't be a big role. This all fits perfectly with Professor Kettleburn, who didn’t play a large role in the books.
However, there is no confirmation that this is actually a casting call for the Harry Potter series and for this character, however, there is indeed a lot to suggest it and fans may be right. Especially since the creators of the HBO Max production have promised a more faithful screen adaptation.
